1902L Low Profile with Elbow and Storz Specification :
An Elkhart Brass Style 1902L (Low Profile) Intake Valve shall be provided. The intake valve shall be constructed of durable, hard-anodized, lightweight Elk-O-Lite® aluminum, corrosion-resistant coating with stainless steel components. To protect against corrosion, the casting shall be coated inside and outer shell with Mil-A 8625 Spec. Hard coat, Zinc, and a powder coat finish. The intake valve shall have 30° inlet locking elbow. Valve inlet (supply side) shall have storz connection size ____; Valve outlet (pump side) 6” female (MNST) swivel. The intake shall have a front mounted pressure relief valve that is adjustable (75–250 psi) (5.2 -17.2 BAR). Air bleeder shall have pull to open and push to close with two 1/8” NPT holes for discharge. A segmented ball shall be electroless nickel plated aluminum with UHMWPE seat and with a minimum 5.12” ( 130mm) diameter waterway (excluding couplings). A 4.75” diameter handwheel shall be included to operate valve open and close functions; shall be configured with Left - Hand or Right – Hand with position indicator. Position indicator shall be included in the handwheel that indicates position of ball; The valve shall have max flow up to 3000 GPM ( 11,356 LPM ).
